Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, SDET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of quality throughout the entire product lifecycle.

• Engage early in the development cycle to assist in refining requirements.

• Detect risks, gaps, and testability concerns prior to development commencement.

• Advocate for quality through the use of data, metrics, and insights.

• Create detailed test cases, encompassing edge cases and exploratory scenarios.

• Conduct regression testing with a strategic mix of manual and automated approaches.

• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Produce clear and reproducible bug reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in QA or SDET positions.

• Strong expertise in both manual testing and automation.

• UI Automation experience with Playwright.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest (unit & integration).

• Proficient in API testing using Postman, Supertest, or similar tools.

• Knowledge of databases, including SQL and NoSQL.

• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.

• Skills in exploratory, regression, and acceptance testing.

• Experience in test architecture and framework design.

• Understanding of risk-based testing and quality metrics tracking.

• Proficient in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and CI pipelines.
