Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks along with test scripts.

• Collaborate with development teams to gain insights into features and formulate comprehensive test plans.

• Conduct both manual and automated tests to ensure the quality and performance of applications.

• Identify, document, and track defects while working with development teams to resolve issues effectively.

• Utilize Playwright for UI automation to enhance test coverage and overall efficiency.

• Implement API testing using Rest Assured.

• Engage in code reviews with an emphasis on testability and code quality.

• Continuously seek to improve testing processes and methodologies.

• Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in software testing and automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Proficient in English (C2 level), capable of communicating effectively in an international setting.

• Demonstrated experience as an SDET or in a comparable role.

• Strong proficiency in Java, C#, or Python.

• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, and Rest Assured.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools, including Jenkins and GitLab CI.

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is an advantage.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
