This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and integrations that facilitate Clinical Shared Services technical engineering across clinical platforms.

• Deliver secure, high-quality, cloud-native microservices and APIs.

• Enhance engineering and delivery methodologies.

• Collaborate closely with Clinical products, QA, architects, vendors, and production support to fulfill clinical, operational, and compliance needs.

• Contribute to modernization efforts.

• Diagnose complex production issues through root-cause analysis.

• Enhance automation and delivery processes to boost reliability, minimize risk, and accelerate time-to-market in a regulated healthcare setting.


⛳️ Requirements

• 7 to 10+ years of relevant experience.

• Proven responsibility for delivering results on schedule, maintaining high quality, and ensuring transparent communication with business and IT stakeholders.

• Ability to comprehend business drivers and architectural context to align backlog/work with the highest-value outcomes, while managing cross-team dependencies to mitigate timeline and cost risks.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities, including defect/issue triage and root-cause analysis in production settings.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to influence stakeholders across various functions (business, architects, QA, vendors, production support).

• Experience in building or supporting secure integrations, including certificate management/rotation and secure secrets handling.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery practices (planning, standups, retrospectives, demos).

• Experience in driving process enhancements (engineering best practices, release readiness, quality/security practices).

• Demonstrated expertise in production oversight, root-cause analysis, and driving the resolution of issues, delays, or outages to maintain SLAs/availability and business continuity.

• Experience in proactively identifying process improvements and cost savings through DevSecOps practices and thoughtful adoption of new technologies.

• Proficient with CI/CD tools and automated deployment (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo CD, or similar).

• Strong engineering principles (coding standards, guidelines, and best practices) and a customer-centric approach in developing reliable solutions.

• Experience in designing and developing APIs within a microservices architecture.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure), including deploying and managing services in cloud environments.

• Familiarity with relational databases and data troubleshooting.
