📋 Description

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug both new and existing software systems, applications, and/or components for market sale or proprietary software.

• Create technical specifications based on conceptual designs and articulated business requirements.

• Continuously assess development progress against plans, collaborating with lead developers, project managers, or management to promote favorable business outcomes.

• Adhere to the team's established Agile processes, which encompass both short- and long-term planning, cross-functional support, and showcasing functional software.

• Provide comprehensive metrics concerning turn time, workload, Kickbacks (and their reasons), and test coverage.

• Maintain awareness of evolving platforms, programming languages, and web/database technologies.

• Keep abreast of business initiatives and objectives, especially as they relate to infrastructure and development architecture concerns.

• Act as a technical expert on development projects, engaging in the complete development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, and deployments.

• Assess new platforms, technologies, and software products/techniques to evaluate the feasibility and desirability of integrating their capabilities into the company's offerings.

• Make design choices that promote leverageability, potential reuse, componentization, extensibility, maintainability, and minimal coupling.

• Strategically align development capabilities with the future demands of our customers.

• Provide solutions and alternatives to challenges impacting timelines, scalability, and performance factors related to production, implementation, and technological advancements for SitusAMC.

• Strive to improve CMMI and Agile practices; develop repeatable processes; ensure documentation is created, maintained, trained upon, easily accessible, versioned, and managed under change control.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of detailed software engineering and development plans and processes.

• Continually enhance, design, or synthesize processes and software that significantly differentiates the SitusAMC brand and services.

• Oversee new product initiatives, ensuring compliance with architectural principles, guiding engineering decisions based on sound business requirements, and identifying technology improvements that can lower development costs.

• Provide comprehensive metrics related to turn time, workload, Kickbacks (and their reasons), and test coverage.

• Recommend strategies to maintain cost-effectiveness and competitiveness.

• Advise and mentor team members as a point of escalation.

• Engage in any other activities that may be assigned by your manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, information systems preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of 6+ years of industry or relevant experience, typically including at least 1+ years in a Senior Associate role or external equivalent.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming.

• Proficient in multiple programming languages, software development environments, and software development life-cycle procedures, including but not limited to: .Net, C#, AWS, SQL, and Javascript.

• Familiarity with software development frameworks, API integrations, RESTful web services, and both structured and unstructured databases.

• Experience managing UX with a focus on human-centered designs.

• Proficient in using Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, or similar tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational, administrative, and documentation abilities.

• Proven analytical skills combined with creative problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to handle competing demands, delays, or unforeseen events.

• Experience with application integration and building APIs for rapidly integrating products.

• Familiarity with Agile Scrum and DevOps aligned delivery teams.

• Experience in developing software development estimates.

• Experience in building software products across various platforms and industries.

• Experience in developing cloud-native applications or migrating applications to the cloud, preferably AWS.

• Ability to work independently and creatively, learn swiftly, and solve complex problems in high-pressure situations.
