Senior Software Developer, Engineer in Test

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement testing strategies and plans for various products.

• Perform reviews and inspections throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Establish and carry out test strategies for intricate projects.

• Create, implement, and consistently enhance scalable automation frameworks.

• Investigate test failures and reported issues.

• Implement performance testing strategies across distributed systems.

• Assess and incorporate modern test automation tools and technologies.

• Design testing tools to maximize test efficiency and coverage.

• Prepare necessary documentation as per internal product development protocols.

• Design and implement test plans for functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing within CI/CD pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

• Minimum of 3 years (36 months) experience in a software developer role or a closely related field.

• At least 3 years (36 months) experience in designing test tools to enhance test efficacy and coverage.

• A minimum of 3 years (36 months) experience in designing, developing, and maintaining test automation systems.

• At least 3 years (36 months) experience in creating and executing test plans for functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing within CI/CD pipelines.

• Minimum of 3 years (36 months) experience in preparing documentation required by internal product development standards and regulatory bodies.

• At least 3 years (36 months) experience utilizing Java, JavaScript, Apache JMeter, Groovy, Playwright, TestNG, AVA test management, Jenkins for CI/CD integration, Postman, the Chai API library, and MSSQL.
