Senior Software Developer, Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to strategize, develop, and deliver features of exceptional quality;

• Provide mentorship to team members through practices like pair programming and conducting code reviews;

• Revise and enhance existing systems through restructuring and refactoring;

• Assist in formulating the long-term vision for our technology and the architecture of new components;

• Advocate for best practices to elevate the quality of our code and processes;

• Lead technical decision-making within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis, or a related discipline;

• In-depth understanding of application design patterns (particularly APIs and messaging) as well as source code versioning;

• Experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically on AWS;

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin;

• Strong proficiency in Node.js (JavaScript and/or TypeScript);

• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Terraform.
