This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the development and technical implementation of custom features.

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the team's domain and guide its technical trajectory.

• Propose, design, implement, test, and monitor features and functionalities.

• Promote collaboration across teams in line with established best practices and Agile methodology.

• Advocate for sound software architecture and development paradigms.

• Work alongside project stakeholders and the development team to design and create scalable, user-friendly systems for our customers, as well as in-house tools.

• Discuss strategies and analyze trade-offs for potential software solutions.

• Develop, test, and maintain the codebase within the team's domain.

• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

• Contribute to the sharing of knowledge regarding new technologies and solutions relevant to the team's area of expertise.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate team members.

• Create and maintain documentation for both new and existing features and integrations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree or college diploma in a recognized technical, vocational, or academic program (ideally in Engineering or Computer Science) or equivalent work experience.

• Over 5 years of experience developing rich, complex web applications.

• Proven experience in architecting and enhancing large software systems.

• Extensive full-stack expertise with Node.js, AWS, React.js, and the TypeScript ecosystem.

• Proficient in back-end development using NestJS.

• Familiarity with TypeORM.

• Experience working with PostgreSQL.

• Understanding of web security best practices and data protection protocols.

• Knowledge of containerization with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.

• A strong passion for clean, reusable, and well-structured code.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to mentor, coach, and collaborate effectively with others.

• A dedication to continuous improvement, ongoing learning, and knowledge sharing.
