Senior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and execution of features within an identity and access management framework, encompassing both front-end and back-end components.

• Collaborate with senior team members to develop an architecture capable of securely supporting millions of patients.

• Engage in an agile development process, providing estimates and ensuring timely delivery of team outputs to a high standard.

• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to the team, fostering a culture of professional development.

• Perform code reviews to guarantee code quality, maintainability, security, scalability, and performance.

• Propose recommendations for tools, enhancements to the developer experience, and product improvements based on emerging technology trends and past experiences.

• Create and sustain technical documentation.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling close work with cross-functional teams.

• In-depth understanding of software engineering principles, including design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.

• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment, emphasizing agile development and continuous delivery.

• Proficiency in Typescript/JavaScript, NodeJS, and React.

• Experience in building services that uphold high levels of reliability, security, and scalability.

• Familiarity with Azure, Kubernetes, and Flux.

• Knowledge of OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, and SAML specifications.

• Experience with electronic health record systems.
