Senior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• You swiftly develop new features that will delight users, consistently refining them based on user feedback.

• Participate in code reviews, technical specification reviews, technical planning, and architectural decision-making.

• Take full responsibility and ownership of projects from inception to completion.

• Engage in technical planning and contribute to architectural decision-making.

• Identify solutions to optimize bottlenecks and enhance overall system performance while staying updated with current technology standards.

• Collaborate with team members to design scalable and well-documented web architecture, including APIs and backend systems.

• Work directly with our customer success team to address issues impacting customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in building highly performant web applications.

• Proven experience working closely with Product & Design teams to create, implement, and iterate on impactful end-to-end product experiences.

• Ability to clearly explain complex systems you have developed to others, highlighting trade-offs made and the challenging problems you encountered.

• Familiarity with the processes of software development within a team using a shared codebase - able to articulate effective and ineffective communication, development processes, and tools.

• Successful experience in remote work environments, excelling in asynchronous communication, independent work, and time management. Capable of articulating your preferred communication and working style.

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada — this is our only non-negotiable requirement.
