Senior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and develop business capabilities in contemporary backend and frontend services, focusing primarily on backend aspects.

• Actively engage in modifications of legacy systems as needed for delivery, stability, or safe migration processes.

• Convert business requirements into clear technical specifications, meaningful solution designs, and solid implementations.

• Recognize and enhance technical bottlenecks, eliminate unnecessary coupling, and resolve structural delivery challenges.

• Continuously refine existing systems through refactoring, decoupling, and practical modernization during live operations.

• Work in close collaboration with Product Owners, Tech Leads, and Engineers to clarify business rules and technical dependencies.

• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and the promotion of best engineering practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.

• Proficient in modern backend technologies such as Kotlin, TypeScript, Spring Boot, or equivalent stacks.

• Comfortable working in diverse environments, including legacy systems.

• Capable of translating vague requirements and implicit business logic into robust technical solutions.

• Knowledgeable about APIs, integration patterns, data models, and the operational implications of technical decisions.

• High engineering standards regarding testability, code quality, maintainability, and awareness of production environments.

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools as productivity enhancers without sacrificing quality or accountability.
