Senior Software Developer, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement features for generative AI products – from the initial prototype phase to full-scale production.

• Create and deploy agentic workflows: multi-step systems that utilize tools to consistently achieve genuine customer results.

• Design and uphold rigorous evaluation frameworks for AI functionalities.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data scientists to convert ambiguous challenges into effective AI solutions.

• Write clean, maintainable code in both Python and our C# application stack, while elevating the quality of the codebase through thorough code reviews.

• Mentor and guide engineers throughout the organization on AI engineering methodologies.

• Conduct root cause analyses on complex problems, including those particularly challenging to AI systems.

• Contribute to significant architectural decisions at both the team and platform levels.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.

• Practical experience in developing generative AI product features for production use – beyond just prototypes or demos.

• Proven experience in building and assessing agentic workflows.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.

• Proficiency in Python and at least one statically-typed programming language (C#, Java, or similar).

• Hands-on experience with SQL databases and contemporary web technologies.

• A proven history of designing and delivering scalable, high-performance systems.

• Excellent communication skills – capable of clearly articulating technical decisions (or AI trade-offs) to engineers or product managers.
