Senior Software Architect, Oracle Fusion

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Ensure applications align with business needs and system objectives, meeting end-user requirements while identifying and resolving system issues.

• Lead comprehensive solution architecture for Oracle Fusion and other systems, ensuring conformity with enterprise architecture standards and business goals.

• Convert business needs into scalable, maintainable, and secure Oracle solution designs.

• Establish and uphold architecture patterns and reference architectures for integrations, extensions, and data flows.

• Facilitate discovery and design workshops with key teams to outline and document future-state processes.

• Evaluate design documents to confirm alignment with architectural and business goals.

• Collaborate with technical solution partners, business, and functional leaders on system integration requirements to present solutions to stakeholders.

• Design and oversee integrations utilizing Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST and SOAP APIs, and event-driven patterns.

• Design and manage extensions using VBCS, APEX, and ATP databases when suitable.

• Ensure consistent end-to-end data flows between Oracle Fusion and downstream/upstream enterprise systems.

• Assess solution designs and technical deliverables for compliance with architecture standards, security mandates, and best practices.

• Engage in and influence decisions made by the Architecture Review Board (ARB), providing clear guidance and risk evaluations.

• Identify and address architectural risks early in the project lifecycle.

• Collaborate with functional leads (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales) to align Oracle solutions with business processes.

• Work alongside Oracle implementation partners, third-party vendors, and internal delivery teams.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, integration engineers, and application specialists.

• Assist in complex deployments, data conversions, and phased cutovers during Oracle Fusion implementations.

• Enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability following go-live.

• Continuously refine architectural practices based on lessons learned and the evolving business strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10+ years in an Oracle Architect role with substantial hands-on solution design experience.

• At least 10+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion ERP implementations or significant upgrades.

• Deep understanding of SOAP and REST APIs for the integration of third-party systems.

• Familiarity with various technologies related to and extending Oracle Fusion (Oracle Integration Cloud, ATP databases, VBCS, and APEX applications).

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.

• Proven track record in managing and successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
