Senior Social Media Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jersey.

📋 Description

• Develop detailed content strategies customized to meet various client objectives and audiences, providing direct guidance on content creation, brand positioning, and distribution methods to maximize reach and return on investment.

• Generate innovative social content concepts, eye-catching hooks, and tailored campaign strategies that are both creatively unique and commercially viable.

• Participate in client meetings and confidently articulate social strategies, clearly explaining the data and psychological rationale behind creative decisions.

• Refine social films, reels, and short-form video content to a professional standard, ensuring that pacing and visual style align with social-first consumption habits.

• Assist with the behind-the-scenes production logistics, helping prepare call sheets, organizing shoots, and balancing creative objectives with operational schedules.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, or content production within an agency or video production setting.

• Outstanding comprehension of social media platforms, current trends, and the workings of platform-specific algorithms.

• Demonstrated capability to independently edit high-performing short-form video content using software such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Excellent written and verbal English skills, combined with strong presentation abilities and a keen attention to detail.

• A proactive and reliable approach—able to serve as the internal expert on social media while working autonomously without constant supervision.

• Conversational or professional fluency in French is highly advantageous.

• Hands-on experience collaborating with film directors, camera teams, or within a dedicated production environment.

• Familiarity with utilizing basic AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, or scripting assistants) to enhance workflow efficiency and facilitate rapid ideation.
