Senior Site Reliability Engineer – Data & Automation Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and sustain a scalable and dependable data platform.

• Utilize SRE principles for data pipelines and services.

• Establish data architecture, models, and standards.

• Ensure the high availability and performance of data systems.

• Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines that integrate various data sources.

• Automate operational tasks through scripting and APIs.

• Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms for data pipelines.

• Create and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions.

• Support and optimize cloud-based data infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in SRE, Data Engineering, or DevOps roles.

• Proficient programming/scripting abilities (Python, SQL, Bash).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Extensive experience with data modeling and pipeline development.

• Experience in implementing monitoring and observability solutions.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, etc.).

• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
