Senior Site Reliability Engineer, CCIP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of the systems supporting Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP).

• Influence reliability practices throughout the platform and assist in establishing operational standards that grow with the business.

• Enhance deployment safety and accelerate delivery velocity by advancing production engineering methodologies.

• Implement distributed tracing across the platform to enhance observability and expedite incident investigation.

• Reduce operational toil through automation that boosts engineering efficiency and platform reliability.

• Promote the adoption of meaningful SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets that inform engineering decisions and enhance service health.

• Augment platform scalability and operational readiness as CCIP continues its expansion.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related position managing large-scale distributed systems.

• Extensive knowledge in defining, implementing, and fostering the adoption of SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets throughout engineering teams.

• Experience in building and maintaining production Kubernetes environments that support essential services.

• Utilized OpenTelemetry to enhance observability within distributed systems.

• Background in improving the reliability, scalability, and operability of production infrastructure.
