Senior Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assists in leading projects aimed at managing and sustaining optimal platform infrastructure performance, reliability, and security through SRE practices.

• Creates intricate services to automate monitoring tasks and deliver essential information to aid in the response and resolution of performance and availability challenges and incidents.

• Comprehends and promotes the use of standardized and scalable software tools to guarantee that systems function seamlessly at peak performance.

• Diagnoses and evaluates service disruptions to identify the root causes of issues and formulate solutions for enhanced reliability.

• Guides junior Engineers in conducting stress, security, and performance testing.

• Maintains current documentation and runbooks to effectively manage new incidents that may occur.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).

• 4 – 6 years of relevant experience is required.

• Familiarity with SRE or DevOps methodologies.

• Experience in batch scheduling.

• Proficient in monitoring practices.

• Knowledge of SQL.
