This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Create a comprehensive security program and offer recommendations along with corrective actions.
• Implement policies regarding document and access controls, the transmission of sensitive information and materials, as well as related safeguards.
• Develop and refresh security training packages, including OPSEC briefings.
• Collaborate with the Public Affairs Officer to review and approve documents for public release.
• Provide support and advice for meetings and briefings related to events.
• Interpret Security Classification Guides for participant programs to offer security guidance to stakeholders.
• Assist in the development of the MACH-XL Security Classification Guide.
• Offer security guidance and planning for flight test operations.
• Review the annual requirements for security training.
• Aid in the maintenance and processing of Security Information Files.
• Prepare responses to inquiries, reports, letters, and other related documents.
• Manage security documentation, access and identification credentials, and access-control records.
• Address security incidents effectively.
• Provide guidance on cyber security matters.
• A Bachelor's degree along with ten or more years of relevant security experience.
• Familiarity with DoD guidelines regarding the handling, destruction, storage, and classification categories of classified materials and CUI/S.
• Previous experience in a security role within the DoD; experience with OSD or the Navy is preferred.
• Knowledge of NISPOM and OPNAVAVINST 2221.5D.
• Capability to analyze and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with a strong customer-service orientation.
• Ability to extensively interface with customers and stakeholders.
• Experience in drafting SOPs, procedures, and processes.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
• Preferred familiarity with the OUSD R&E Hypersonics for Military Systems and Applications Security Classification Guide.
• Preferred knowledge of the Navy Conventional Prompt Strike SCG.
• Background in cyber security or relevant technical experience is preferred.
• Must have access to classified facilities in proximity to the candidate's location.
