This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +10 more states.
• Lead and implement thorough security assessments across various client organizations in multiple sectors.
• Conduct client interviews both independently and virtually, as well as onsite.
• Review existing policies and procedures.
• Observe and assess physical and operational controls at client locations.
• Oversee multiple client assessments, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met simultaneously.
• Convey complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Document findings from assessments and present results to client leadership teams.
• Identify and prioritize remediation tasks related to security with clients.
• Educate clients on key concepts and principles of information security.
• Advise clients on the implementation of appropriate information security controls.
• Provide insights on relevant regulations and best-practice standards in information security.
• Continuously maintain and enhance technical and security expertise.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in information security or a related field, encompassing both work and educational experience.
• Strong understanding of fundamental information security concepts.
• Preferred experience in managing risk assessments across various industries.
• Demonstrated motivation for pursuing a career in information security.
• Basic understanding of information security foundations such as asset management, data security, network management, physical security, and governance.
• Self-driven and proactive in seeking educational opportunities.
• Capability to independently conduct a variety of information security-focused risk assessments.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Skill in managing competing priorities and adhering to strict deadlines across multiple projects.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish strong client relationships and communicate findings clearly and professionally.
• Proficient in translating complex technical concepts into actionable recommendations and business language.
• Proven technical confidence and credibility in discussions about security concepts, frameworks, and vulnerabilities.
• Excellent skills in interviewing, analysis, and critical thinking.
• Professional certifications such as Network+, Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, or similar are preferred but not mandatory.
• Only candidates residing in the United States will be considered.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday.
• Ability to occasionally work outside standard hours of 8:00am-5:00pm Central Time to accommodate client time zones in the United States.
• Willingness to travel regularly, both locally and long-distance, including 2-3 night stays 1-2 times a month.
