This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Identify, investigate, and monitor advanced cyber intrusions while documenting findings.
• Improve knowledge of tools and malware through reverse engineering techniques.
• Create tools to automate analysis tasks and track threat actors efficiently.
• Develop host-based and network-based signatures tailored for large-scale threat detection, hunting, and tracking.
• Generate high-quality, actionable intelligence reports.
• Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to coordinate adversary and campaign tracking, offering support to teams focused on developing mitigation strategies and responding to incidents.
• Familiarity with reverse engineering tools (such as disassemblers, decompilers, and debuggers) and processes (including unpacking malware and reconstructing code logic).
• In-depth understanding of Windows OS internals.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, particularly Python.
• Capability to identify and categorize malicious tools through the development of signatures for tracking and hunting purposes.
• Skill in articulating complex technical and non-technical concepts in written, verbal, and graphical formats.
• Demonstrated experience and a proven record in the field of cybersecurity.
