Senior Security Engineer – Infrastructure, Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design and oversee the strategic security architecture across a variety of technical environments.

• Deploy advanced security tools, establish centralized dashboards, and maintain a cohesive, compliant security posture across different settings.

• Create automated workflows to enhance incident response and facilitate evidence gathering for compliance audits.

• Act as a subject matter expert in network design and cloud migration processes.

• Develop and uphold standardized security baselines that meet both ISO 27001 and SOC2 criteria.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in security engineering, demonstrating a successful history of implementing security tools in complex, multi-tenant, or fragmented environments.

• Strong understanding of SOC2 (Trust Services Criteria) and ISO 27001 frameworks, with the ability to convert these standards into technical specifications for engineering teams.

• Practical experience with contemporary security stacks (such as Splunk, Elastic, Sentinel, or similar) and proficiency in integrating them through APIs.

• High level of expertise in Cloud Security (AWS/Azure/GCP), Containerization (Docker/K8s), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible).

• Capacity to mentor junior analysts and effectively communicate the reasoning behind compliance and security strategies to stakeholders.
