Senior Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Estonia.

📋 Description

• Take charge of Infrastructure Security: Design, implement, and enhance security measures, including hardening, network segmentation, IAM, and endpoint protection, across our entire fleet.

• Strategic Defense: Steer the technical approach for cyber security defense, focusing on enterprise posture management, threat detection, and vulnerability management.

• Collaborative Architecture: Work alongside ITOps, SysOps, DevOps, and XOps to integrate security into the foundation of our architecture and change management protocols.

• SIEM Evolution: Create and sustain our SIEM strategy and associated infrastructure to ensure proactive visibility.

• Mentorship: Train and mentor engineering teams on secure system design, providing insights that enhance the security knowledge across the entire organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with GCP permissions and security configurations in Kubernetes, Azure, and on-prem environments.

• High proficiency in Intrusion Detection, Exploit Development, Linux Operations, and Security Understanding.

• Demonstrated ability to identify deficiencies in cloud designs and suggest improvements for authentication, authorization, and bastion host configurations.

• Capability to translate complex security risks into actionable insights for both technical colleagues and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven history of managing large-scale projects with intricate deliverables while anticipating potential challenges before they arise.

• Possession of industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, Google Security Engineer, or GIAC.

• Extensive practical experience with (Open Source) SIEM solutions and Google Security Operations or Google Security Command Center.
