Senior Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Infrastructure Security by designing, implementing, and enhancing security controls, which include hardening, network segmentation, IAM, and endpoint security across our entire fleet.

• Drive the technical strategy for cyber security defense, focusing on enterprise posture management, threat detection, and vulnerability management.

• Collaborate with ITOps, SysOps, DevOps, and XOps to integrate security into the fundamental aspects of our architecture and change management processes.

• Advance and sustain our SIEM strategy along with the associated infrastructure to ensure proactive visibility.

• Mentor and guide engineering teams on secure system design, providing insights that elevate the overall security knowledge of the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience with GCP permissions and security configurations within Kubernetes, Azure, and on-premises environments.

• High level of expertise in Intrusion Detection, Exploit Development, and understanding of Linux Operations and Security.

• Demonstrated ability to identify shortcomings in cloud designs and recommend improvements for authentication, authorization, and bastion host configurations.

• Capability to translate complex security risks into actionable insights for both technical colleagues and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven history of managing large-scale projects with intricate deliverables while anticipating potential challenges before they arise.
