Senior Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the entire vulnerability management process, from identification and triage to tracking remediation efforts.

• Integrate secure design principles throughout mobile applications, APIs, and microservices.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to address security issues proactively rather than merely reporting them.

• Perform threat modeling and risk assessments to identify and prioritize vulnerabilities effectively.

• Enhance security visibility, monitoring, and alerting across various systems.

• Establish and enforce security standards, best practices, and policies.

• Lead the integration of DevSecOps, including security tooling and automation within CI/CD pipelines.

• Fortify cloud security posture across environments such as AWS, GCP, or similar platforms.

• Assist in meeting compliance requirements in regulated environments.

• Implement automation to minimize manual security tasks and boost efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in security engineering or related fields.

• More than 5 years of expertise in Application Security (AppSec).

• At least 3 years of experience in threat modeling and risk assessment.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience applying secure coding principles (e.g., OWASP).

• Over 2 years of experience in DevSecOps practices, including integration of CI/CD security.

• More than 2 years of experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).

• At least 2 years of experience with cryptography principles and secure implementations.

• Strong background working in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or similar).

• Demonstrated experience in collaborating with engineering teams to drive remediation efforts.

• Experience in leading or overseeing security initiatives or projects.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to prioritize risks effectively.
