• Oversee a prompt and formal assessment of our existing AI tooling landscape.
• Assess potential AI platforms and tools in relation to Element 84’s stringent CMMC/NIST 800-171 compliance standards.
• Develop a comprehensive adoption strategy that aligns with Zero-Trust frameworks.
• Direct the technical procurement, setup, and deployment of sanctioned AI platform environments.
• Manage the AI tool portfolio: onboard approved tools and phase out redundant or non-compliant ones.
• Design and implement Zero Trust conditional access policies.
• Carry out the deployment of sanctioned AI architectures, establishing any required AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Act as the principal technical author for the organization’s System Security Plan (SSP).
• 7+ years of experience in Cloud Security, DevSecOps, and Infrastructure Architecture.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• Extensive architectural knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
• Professional-level cloud architect certifications are highly preferred.
• Proven experience in developing System Security Plans (SSP) and implementing security controls that align with NIST SP 800-53 and NIST SP 800-171.
• Significant experience in integrating Identity and Access Management (IAM), SSO, and endpoint telemetry to enforce Conditional Access Policies (CAP) and Device Trust.
• In-depth understanding of contemporary software engineering pipelines, particularly in securing GitHub Enterprise environments, managing tool migrations, and securely integrating third-party APIs/LLMs.
• Hands-on experience with Python and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Strong knowledge of API design.
• Ability to convey complex Zero Trust and AI concepts into actionable business risk discussions for non-technical stakeholders.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
