Senior SDET, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Independently implement innovative testing methodologies to formulate test plans and strategies.

• Develop, automate, and execute test plans for both internal and external systems.

• Engage in design and code reviews, ensuring that suitable hooks are integrated for testability.

• Create specialized testing tools to enhance the software platform.

• Conduct real-time and forensic investigations to resolve production software issues.

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Software Development Engineers to review specifications and contribute to design discussions.

• Carry out both manual and automated testing, assessing and analyzing code for quality.

• Document Quality Assurance activities in accordance with a formal Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

• Act as a technical liaison during formal User Validation exercises with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Continuously enhance quality processes and the effectiveness of testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with over 5 years of relevant experience.

• Practical coding experience in Java.

• Proficiency in developing and executing test automation using Java, Maven, TestNG (or JUnit), and Selenium.

• Familiarity with at least one relational database (e.g., SQL Server) and NoSQL.

• Experience with GitLab Pipeline or similar continuous integration tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of analyzing complex issues across extensive systems.

• Excellent skills in debugging, as well as oral and written communication.
