Senior SDET – GovTech Industry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing protocols.

• Enhance test coverage while pinpointing quality risks in current applications.

• Utilize AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot) to expedite the development and maintenance of tests.

• Diagnose and rectify test failures across application, infrastructure, and data layers.

• Minimize flaky tests and bolster the reliability of the CI/CD pipeline.

• Partner with engineering teams to improve testability and ensure confidence in production systems.

• Create scalable testing standards, tools, and best practices across various products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient programming skills in C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java.

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as xUnit, JUnit, Jest, and Playwright.

• Comprehensive understanding of testing principles, including unit testing, integration testing, mocking, and test isolation.

• Strong capabilities in debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.

• Ability to navigate large and complex codebases effectively.

• Experience in Shift Left and quality-centric engineering environments.

• Excellent English communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

• Interest in leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot) for test generation, refactoring, and coverage assessment.

• Basic knowledge of LLMs or a strong eagerness to learn.
