Senior SDET – GovTech Industry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.

• Enhance test coverage while pinpointing quality risks within existing applications.

• Utilize AI tools (such as Claude and Copilot) to expedite the development and upkeep of tests.

• Diagnose and rectify test failures across application, infrastructure, and data layers.

• Minimize flaky tests and bolster the reliability of the CI/CD pipeline.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve testability and instill confidence in production systems.

• Establish scalable testing standards, tools, and best practices across a diverse range of products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient programming skills in **C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Java**.

• Experience in creating and managing **automated unit and integration tests**.

• Acquainted with testing frameworks such as **xUnit, JUnit, Jest, and Playwright**.

• Strong grasp of testing principles, including **unit testing, integration testing, mocking, and test isolation**.

• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work efficiently within extensive and complex codebases.

• Experience in **Shift Left** and quality-centric engineering settings.

• Proficient English communication skills and a collaborative approach.

• Enthusiasm for utilizing **AI tools** (e.g., Claude, Copilot) for test generation, refactoring, and coverage assessment.

• Basic knowledge of **LLMs** or a strong eagerness to learn.
