This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Carry out environmental site investigations, assessments, and surveys to sample, measure, and analyze air, water, materials, and soil.

• Identify, assess, and propose risk management and remediation strategies/designs to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.

• Prepare relevant permit applications, risk assessments, and technical documents, including proposals, reports, and correspondence with regulatory agencies.

• Develop systems and plans for environmental protection.

• Projects may encompass Phase I/II environmental site assessments, ecological and natural resource field surveys, tank closure assessments, asbestos abatement, stormwater management, and site planning and permitting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a minimum of 13 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• A Master’s degree or PhD is preferred.

• A valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history may be necessary.

• Certification in the relevant field of expertise is required.

• Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer status is required.
