
Senior Scheduler – Data Center Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Travel to project locations as necessary to assist with project delivery and schedule management activities.
• Collaborate efficiently with clients, project managers, design teams, contractors, subcontractors, and other involved parties.
• Create, maintain, and analyze intricate project and program schedules using Primavera P6 within a multi-project setting.
• Integrate scheduling information from engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and construction teams into master program schedules.
• Aid in the implementation of project planning and scheduling standards, processes, and best practices across data center construction programs.
• Work alongside project and construction teams to uphold schedule integrity and ensure alignment with project goals and milestones.
• Track schedule performance, provide progress updates, and forecast to identify potential delays, constraints, and recovery options.
• Coordinate and synthesize multiple sources of schedule data into integrated reporting platforms and program-level dashboards.
• Prepare and present project status reports, schedule narratives, and executive-level presentations for both internal and client stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain milestone schedules and short-term look-ahead schedules to facilitate project execution and decision-making.
• Conduct schedule risk assessments, critical path analysis, and what-if scenario modeling to assess project impacts.
• Evaluate schedule discrepancies against baseline plans and offer recommendations for corrective actions and recovery strategies.
• Assess schedule impacts related to scope changes, design modifications, procurement activities, and change orders.
• Lead schedule review meetings and collaborate closely with project teams to proactively address scheduling challenges.
• Support project controls reporting and governance requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant company and client standards.
• Preferred experience in mission-critical environments, including commissioning activities.
• Hands-on construction experience is essential.
• Required understanding of best practices related to the delivery of a construction program.
• Extensive experience in creating and managing large-scale construction schedules in Primavera P6.
• A background in Project Controls is advantageous.
• Required familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and construction sequencing.
• Ability to work independently is vital.
• Capable of developing detailed concept-level schedules from limited project information.
• Proficient in identifying major phases within the timeline and discussing dependencies.
• Collaborate closely with various disciplines in project teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of schedules while maintaining independence as a scheduler.
• Knowledge of system start-up sequences and major dependencies is necessary.
• Ability to convert data into Tableau reports and graphics.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills are essential.
• A BS Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; or demonstrated equivalent and relevant experience.
• PSP certification by AACE in planning/scheduling is an advantage.
• EIT certification is preferred.
