Senior SAP Technical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical aspects of SAP on NetWeaver 7.5 operating on Oracle/Linux.

• Collaborate with Managed Service Basis and infrastructure teams on: optimizing system performance, planning capacity, maintaining landscape stability, and coordinating transports and environments.

• Monitor and enhance the performance of Oracle databases.

• Ensure dependable connectivity among: ECC, EWM, TM, SCM systems, MDG, GRC, BW, as well as external MES and warehouse systems.

• Spearhead the implementation of SAP data archiving strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of technical experience with SAP in on-premises environments.

• Extensive knowledge of: SAP ECC on NetWeaver 7.5, Oracle databases on Linux, and SAP PI integration landscapes.

• Familiarity with various SAP modules: EWM, TM, SCM, MDG, GRC, BW.

• Proven experience in leading SAP data archiving projects.

• Background in supporting S/4HANA migration readiness activities.

• Solid understanding of SAP landscape topology and transport architecture.

• Experience in manufacturing environments (preferably in paper, pulp, packaging, or similar sectors).

• Background in multi-plant manufacturing settings.

• Experience with high-transaction warehouse and logistics systems.

• Basic knowledge of Linux system fundamentals.

• Involvement in S/4HANA Brownfield migrations.

• Possession of SAP technical or Basis-related certifications.
