Senior SAP Support Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deliver application support to payroll clients through advice, guidance, and technical activities.

• Handle customer incidents, requests, and changes utilizing ServiceNow and ITIL methodologies.

• Offer functional analysis and assistance on UKI payroll processing inquiries.

• Lead the UKI Payroll AMS team, mentor junior team members, conduct daily standups, and facilitate planning and knowledge transfer.

• Serve as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for clients, maintaining comprehensive knowledge of their system configurations and payroll cycles.

• Revise client documentation to accurately reflect system modifications.

• Oversee change requests from the stages of requirements gathering through estimation, unit testing, and deployment.

• Communicate status and progress updates to the SAP Support Lead.

• Participate in customer-facing issue calls and provide updates on incidents.

• Identify and rectify defects related to UK-specific payroll areas.

• Adhere to best practices in change and release management.

• Manage the testing and implementation of SAP HRSP and CLC patches.

• Assist with End of Year/Start of Year processes in collaboration with customer payroll teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with UKI Payroll, including schemas, PCRs, wage type creation, and basic pay configuration.

• Demonstrated experience with SAP Payroll systems, including maintenance, troubleshooting, configuration, and support.

• Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll is an advantage.

• Capability to prioritize tasks across multiple clients while meeting deadlines and contractual SLA targets.

• Strong communication skills, employing business language rather than technical jargon.

• Extensive knowledge of payroll processes, systems, and UKI legislation.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

• Capacity to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.

• Willingness to be flexible with working hours for critical payroll issues or escalations.

• Experience in systems implementation is advantageous but not essential.

• Desire to become a subject-matter expert in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll modules.

• Availability to support UK working hours and time zones.

• Work authorization in the employing country without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

• Successful completion of a background check upon receiving an offer.
