Senior SAP Functional Consultant – FI/CO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Oversee the financial architectural design and execution of Global E-Invoicing and E-Taxation initiatives across Middle Europe (MEU) and the Middle East & Africa (MEA).

• Ensure that financial accounting and controlling operations (S/4HANA Finance) adhere to the multi-year digital tax strategy.

• Implement country-specific mandates, including ZATCA e-invoicing, VAT reporting, Intrastat submissions, and local billing/tax processes.

• Manage integrations with EDICOM, governmental portals, EDI/IDoc, and external tax solutions such as Vertex, Thomson Reuters, or Sovos.

• Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between global templates and local legal obligations.

• Lead Unit, Integration, and UAT testing utilizing tools such as INT4 and Tricentis Tosca.

• Assist in data migration, ensure audit readiness, and support SAF-T reporting and Continuous Transaction Controls (CTC) compliance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to guarantee successful project delivery and adherence to regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years as an SAP FI/CO Consultant, with at least three full-cycle implementations that include complex tax localization.

• Extensive knowledge of G/L, AR/AP, Fixed Assets, and Bank Accounting.

• Proficient in Overhead Cost Controlling and Product Costing.

• Hands-on experience with the Document and Reporting Compliance framework is preferred.

• In-depth understanding of EU VAT directives and national electronic reporting standards (e.g., XRechnung, KSeF).

• Experience with ZATCA (Saudi Arabia) Phase 2 and the UAE's forthcoming E-Invoicing System (EES).

• Professional fluency in English.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Finance and Controlling, or Business Administration.

• Desirable: SAP Certification in FI, CO, or S/4HANA Finance is a significant advantage.

• Specialized certifications in SAP Tax Compliance or DRC are highly preferred.
