Senior SAP Consultant, MDG

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as a functional expert in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).

• Design, configure, and implement solutions for Master Data Governance.

• Lead comprehensive implementations including gathering requirements, creating blueprints, configuration, testing, and going live.

• Configure data models, workflows, business rules (BRF+), and types for change/requests.

• Develop and maintain approval processes and data governance policies.

• Ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of master data.

• Oversee data transfers and integration efforts between SAP and other systems.

• Define and put into action governance processes and data policies.

• Integrate SAP MDG with S/4HANA, ECC, and non-SAP systems.

• Support initiatives for migration, data cleansing, and enhancement of data quality.

• Utilize tools like DRF, Workflow, and Fiori interfaces.

• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and drive continuous improvements.

• Prepare functional and technical documentation.

• Assist in training and knowledge transfer for users and teams.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, project managers, and business units.

• Ensure adherence to data standards and audit requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, Engineering, or related disciplines.

• Proficiency in advanced English for global communication.

• Extensive experience with SAP MDG.

• Familiarity with MDG-BP, MDG-M, MDG-F, or MDG-S.

• Experience with SAP integrations (S/4HANA, ECC, and external systems).

• Knowledge of data governance principles and the master data lifecycle.

• Experience in configuring data models, Change/Request Types, BRF+, workflows, and business rules, as well as the Data Replication Framework (DRF).

• Proven ability to create approval flows and validations.

• Strong emphasis on data quality and minimizing inconsistencies.

• Familiarity with Fiori and UI customization.

• Consultative mindset and strategic outlook.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Effective communication skills with global stakeholders.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.

• Collaborative and team-focused approach.

• SAP MDG certification is preferred.

• Experience with agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum) is preferred.

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira and ServiceNow is preferred.

• Experience with Cloud ALM and ITSM is preferred.

• Experience in supporting developers by resolving technical obstacles is preferred.
