Senior SAP ABAP Consultant, FI/CO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Maintain legacy SAP ECC environments while integrating them with contemporary e-invoicing and tax reporting systems.

• Spearhead the technical adaptation of the SAP ECC landscape to align with changing government regulations.

• Leverage EDICOM as a middleware solution to connect internal ERP data with stringent Government Portals.

• Ensure adherence to local tax, trade, and reporting laws while facilitating cross-functional integration.

• Design and sustain intricate RICEFW objects in SAP ECC to extract tax-related data for new mandates.

• Configure and enhance IDoc or RFC interfaces between SAP ECC and the EDICOM Global E-Invoicing Platform.

• Guarantee smooth data transmission to national portals.

• Implement technical solutions for the UAE E-Invoicing pilot and the full mandatory rollout.

• Oversee ongoing B2B e-invoicing requirements and real-time VAT reporting updates across the EU region.

• Deploy and manage complex integrations with local systems and external government portals via EDI/IDoc.

• Assist in the end-to-end testing phases to ensure compliance with legal and system standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as an ABAP Lead Consultant, including at least three full-cycle implementations involving complex tax localization.

• Extensive knowledge in creating and maintaining IDocs, RFCs, and BAPIs.

• Proficient in BAdIs, BTEs (Business Transaction Events), and User Exits.

• Capability to create custom tables and views to meet local legal requirements.

• Experience with Adobe Forms or SmartForms.

• Expert-level understanding of EU VAT directives and national electronic reporting standards.

• Familiarity with ZATCA (Saudi Arabia) Phase 2 and the UAE's upcoming E-Invoicing System.

• Professional fluency in English.

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Finance and Controlling, or Business Administration.
