Senior SAP ABAP Consultant – E-Invoicing, Tax Compliance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Become part of a global SAP transformation project aimed at enhancing digital tax compliance and adhering to global e-invoicing requirements in the MEU and MEA regions.

• Assist international organizations in modifying their SAP ECC finance and invoicing procedures to meet changing legal and regulatory standards.

• Ensure adherence to electronic invoicing, VAT reporting, and facilitate smooth integration with external tax authority platforms.

• Work collaboratively with business, tax/legal stakeholders, and technical SAP teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant, including at least three full-cycle implementations that involve intricate tax localization.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP ABAP development and SAP ECC environments.

• Practical experience with RICEFW development and SAP integration technologies.

• Familiarity with IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, User Exits, BAdIs, or BTEs.

• Understanding of VAT, e-invoicing, tax compliance, or localization-related processes.

• Experience with electronic invoicing and digital tax reporting obligations.

• Proficiency in XML, JSON, or electronic document mapping formats.

• Awareness of EU VAT regulations and electronic reporting standards such as KSeF, XRechnung, or PEPPOL.

• Experience with MEA e-invoicing initiatives such as ZATCA Phase 2 or UAE E-Invoicing frameworks is highly regarded.

• Proven track record in international enterprise settings.

• Strong professional communication skills in English.
