Senior Rust Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Oversee development initiatives utilizing Rust

• Take ownership of significant technical and architectural choices

• Create essential application logic and component interfaces

• Guarantee the solution's performance, reliability, and maintainability

• Recognize and address technical risks

• Conduct code reviews and uphold engineering standards

• Coach developers and impart Rust knowledge

• Work alongside architects, QA engineers, frontend developers, and client-side stakeholders

• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software engineering

• More than 3 years of commercial experience in Rust development

• In-depth knowledge of Rust ownership, lifetimes, concurrency, traits, and error management

• Experience in roles such as Technical Lead, Lead Engineer, or Senior Rust Engineer

• Demonstrated success in delivering complex production-grade software

• Capability to design clean and maintainable architectures

• Proficient in processing large data volumes efficiently

• Strong practices in testing, code review, and documentation

• Background in working with performance-critical and reliable systems

• Experience in mentoring or leading engineering teams

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
