Senior RF Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Direct the development of RF testing for new product introduction (NPI) programs, from initial sample stages to mass production launch, focusing on AMW and SIP product lines.

• Work in close collaboration with RF design, product engineering, and operations teams to achieve NPI objectives leading to Final Production Release.

• Design and enhance RF automated test equipment (ATE) programs and testing hardware for both production and characterization assessments.

• Review RF electrical specifications from device datasheets to formulate comprehensive ATE test plans.

• Gather and evaluate RF device performance metrics, establishing test thresholds through temperature characterization.

• Assist in RMA verification and failure analysis; implement corrective measures to improve RF test quality and coverage.

• Recognize and pursue opportunities for reducing RF test duration and costs; contribute to yield enhancement and maintenance activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field.

• Over 5 years of experience in RF test engineering within the semiconductor sector.

• Expertise in creating RF test programs and hardware for automated RF test equipment (ATE), including platforms like Advantest V93K RFIM6/RFIM18 or similar.

• Competence in interpreting RF hardware schematics, datasheet parameters, and specifications for RF devices.

• Strong grasp of RF testing methodologies, debugging techniques, RF fundamentals (such as S-parameters, RSSI, SNR noise figure, EVM, ACLR), and mixed-signal testing.

• Skilled in statistical analysis and data interpretation to drive improvements in RF yield.

• Must possess strong teamwork abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in English is preferred.
