Senior Regulatory and Scientific Affairs Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Offer guidance on ROC, as well as provide systems and process support, in addition to training for internal auditing and compliance with above-brand regulations.

• Ensure adherence to relevant US regulations, third-party requirements, and internal Nestlé policies.

• Work collaboratively with Regulatory & Scientific Affairs, Quality, Procurement, and Recipe Management to ensure compliance of raw materials, formulas, and finished products.

• Identify and escalate any compliance issues related to products, systems, or processes, while working towards solutions and continuous improvement.

• Partner with Global teams and export markets that receive products manufactured at US-based facilities.

• Provide expertise on recipe compliance, labeling, claims substantiation, ingredient qualifications, procurement, and internal auditing.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.

• Over 4 years of experience within the food/supplement regulatory landscape.

• Proven capability to manage projects that are of moderate to high complexity and to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Availability for occasional national travel and attendance at in-person team meetings.

• Proficient in project planning, management, and possess strong problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with SAP, ContentHub, and Veeva is advantageous.

• An MBA, Registered Dietitian, or MSc along with other degrees is considered a plus.
