Senior Red Team Operator – Social Engineering Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement red team and adversary simulation activities across enterprise, cloud, financial, and web3 environments.

• Execute social engineering campaigns to facilitate initial access, including phishing, spear phishing, pretexting, and vishing, with a focus on targeting executives.

• Manage engagements through post-access phases, including lateral movement, privilege escalation, persistence, and achieving objectives.

• Set up and oversee C2 infrastructure along with supporting tools.

• Conduct validation and evasion of security controls (firewall, proxy, DLP, EDR).

• Perform web application and network penetration testing as part of comprehensive engagements.

• Produce clear, client-ready reports detailing findings and remediation recommendations.

• Independently lead engagements when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in red team/adversary simulation across various sectors.

• Practical experience in social engineering with a proven track record (phishing, pretexting, executive-level assessments).

• Proficient in web application and network penetration testing techniques.

• Familiarity with C2 deployment, control bypass methods, and standard post-exploitation practices.

• Capability to manage an engagement independently, from scoping to reporting.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for client-facing deliverables.

• A significant advantage if any of the following apply: Experience in creating phishing simulation and security awareness training programs.

• Experience with crypto/web3 or smart contract engagements.

• Proven track record in bug bounty programs (e.g., Bugcrowd, HackerOne).

• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CRTO, or OSCE3.

• Experience presenting at conferences or publishing research.
