Senior React Native, React Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take the lead in frontend and mobile development ownership.

• Make independent architecture decisions, prioritizing scalability, maintainability, performance, and reliability.

• Develop production-level applications utilizing TypeScript across both web and mobile platforms.

• Collaborate with GraphQL APIs and establish clear integration patterns among frontend, mobile, and API layers.

• Create scalable engineering frameworks using React, React Native, Next.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL.

• Maintain application quality benchmarks concerning architecture, code organization, testing, responsiveness, and developer experience.

• Define the technical vision, going beyond mere implementation specifics.

• Set and uphold quality standards for both AI-generated and manually crafted code.

• Leverage AI-driven and agentic development workflows using tools like Cursor and Claude to enhance delivery speed while maintaining engineering excellence.

• Convert vague product requirements into well-defined technical solutions.

• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications across web and mobile platforms.

• Work directly with clients to facilitate effective communication and a robust understanding of their needs.

• Contribute to system architecture, performance strategies, testing methodologies, and engineering efficiency.

• Utilize foundational knowledge of native mobile development concepts in Kotlin/Java and Objective-C/Swift when handling React Native integrations, troubleshooting, or addressing platform-specific requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in React, React Native, Next.js, and TypeScript.

• Significant experience working with GraphQL APIs.

• Extensive experience in AI/ML or agentic development using tools like Cursor, Claude, or similar platforms.

• Basic knowledge of native mobile development concepts in Kotlin/Java and Objective-C/Swift.

• Proven track record in designing, developing, and maintaining production-level web and mobile applications.

• Strong grasp of performance, responsiveness, maintainability, and overall software quality.

• Demonstrated ability to make independent architecture choices and take ownership of technical direction.

• Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and stakeholders.

• Availability for full-time work in a remote setting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on development experience.

• Outstanding English communication skills, both written and verbal.
