Senior React Native Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain user-facing functionalities utilizing React Native, Expo, Expo Router, and TypeScript

• Assist in migration integrations across the current mobile application

• Develop authentication processes, including OTP and MFA where applicable

• Build account management features, encompassing create, read, and update functions

• Integrate payment solutions and autopay features

• Implement and oversee WebView-based payment processes and third-party integrations

• Facilitate support channel redirects and product-driven feature adjustments within the application

• Connect mobile applications with backend services using REST APIs

• Establish robust form validation and effectively manage loading, error, and edge-case scenarios

• Compose and uphold unit tests for the code developed

• Enhance component performance across a diverse range of mobile devices

• Collaborate with Development, QA, Product, Design, and other key stakeholders

• Take charge of assigned projects while achieving objectives and meeting delivery timelines

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related area is preferred, or equivalent professional experience

• Over 5 years of professional experience in mobile application development

• Strong practical experience with React Native

• High proficiency in TypeScript and contemporary JavaScript

• Practical experience with Expo and Expo Router

• Proven track record of integrating mobile applications with REST APIs

• Experience in implementing form validation and complex user input processes

• Familiarity with authentication flows, including OTP and/or MFA

• Experience with WebViews, particularly in payment-related processes

• Experience in writing and maintaining unit tests for mobile applications

• Knowledge of Xcode and Gradle/Android Studio

• Experience with Git and collaborative software development methodologies

• Understanding of Scrum/Agile practices

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities

• Experience with payment integrations, account management, or autopay features is a plus

• Experience in developing and supporting applications across both iOS and Android platforms is a plus
