Senior Quantity Surveyor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute strategies in alignment with the Amey Freedom to Perform framework, governance, and legislation to reclaim contractual entitlements.

• Foster client relationships to facilitate successful account management.

• Ensure uniformity in commercial processes both pre- and post-contract.

• Apply commercial best practices to enhance value while minimizing risk.

• Collaborate with the finance team on project cost management, including budgets, forecasts, and CVRs.

• Oversee the change management process and assess proposed modifications.

• Guarantee that payment applications are processed punctually and in accordance with contracts.

• Assist broader bidding and estimating teams with strategic proposals.

• Offer commercial support and expertise to execute the commercial strategy.

• Carry out line management and personnel management responsibilities.

• Aid in change management and advocate for Amey in securing and retaining projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in quantity surveying or a related field is preferred.

• Strong financial and commercial insights.

• Comprehensive understanding of standard contract forms.

• Awareness of industry trends.

• Ability to cultivate exceptional client relationships.

• Proficient negotiation skills.

• Excellent IT capabilities, including proficient use of Excel and other Microsoft applications.

• Experience in managing personnel.

• Background in commercial finance budgeting and reporting.

• Successful completion of an enhanced DBS check before starting employment.
