This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee and manage the process for completing all new and annual compliance documentation for customers, which includes product safety, customer surveys, change control, capability studies, resolution of customer complaints, and quarterly reporting.
• Coordinate various certification audits and submission of requirements, such as ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000.
• Possess an understanding of DMAIC methodology and be capable of leading projects at the plant level.
• Offer hands-on support for the implementation, ongoing utilization, and maintenance of the elements of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Act as a super user for Infinity and other systems to provide necessary support to plants.
• Assist in maintaining standard scorecards and reports for all quality-related aspects, including but not limited to CARs, SCARs, and Change Control processes.
• Help identify trends and create reports that provide value for decision-making by our leadership teams.
• Support quality leaders in the Thermoforming plant with the application and implementation of quality management systems and documentation for Global Food Safety and ISO 9001 certifications.
• Supply high-level statistical analysis and output for trending and continuous improvement processes.
• Manage the supplier quality process for the Thermoforming platform, facilitating document requests and approvals for both new and existing suppliers to ensure compliance with product safety requirements.
• Collaborate with the division purchasing and inventory team to streamline the connection between supplier data and Toppan data.
• Lead and support supplier quality audits as requested.
• Maintain customer and third-party databases for compliance documentation, including Trace Gains, Repositrak, and customer portals.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Extensive experience in Quality Management and Leadership.
• Outstanding organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Root Cause Analysis techniques (FMEA, 5 Why’s, ATS, etc.) and in developing and implementing countermeasures.
• Process and solutions-oriented, capable of providing problem-solving support and guidance to manufacturing plants.
