Automation Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Create and implement performance testing scripts utilizing Apache JMeter

• Conduct Load, Stress, Spike, and Endurance testing

• Perform API performance evaluations for REST and SOAP services

• Assess test outcomes to pinpoint bottlenecks in applications, databases, or infrastructure

• Set up parameterization, correlation, assertions, and data-driven testing within JMeter

• Produce and deliver performance reports highlighting key performance indicators such as Response Time, Throughput, TPS, and Error Rate

• Collaborate closely with Development, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams to address performance challenges

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Performance Testing

• Matriculation and further academic qualifications

• Extensive practical experience with Apache JMeter

• Proficiency in testing REST APIs using JMeter and other API testing tools

• Solid understanding of performance testing principles and methodologies
