
Senior Quality Engineer – SAP Test Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and spearhead the SAP test automation strategy utilizing Tricentis Tosca across S/4HANA and interconnected business processes.
• Design scalable and reusable automation frameworks for comprehensive, regression, and integration testing.
• Create and implement integration solutions between SAP Signavio, SAP Cloud ALM, and Tosca.
• Facilitate collaboration among business units, IT, QA, and SAP functional teams.
• Establish and oversee test data management practices.
• Promote quality engineering methodologies, enhance automation coverage, set KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
• Design, develop, and sustain automated test scripts and frameworks using Tosca.
• Ensure thorough validation of end-to-end processes across SAP modules and interfacing systems.
• Define best practices for automation, CI/CD integration, and version control.
• Analyze test outcomes, detect defects, and conduct root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Lead activities related to release readiness, including test planning, execution, and go/no-go recommendations.
• Aid pre-sales and growth strategies through solution development, RFP responses, client workshops, and value articulation.
• Foster stakeholder engagement and mentor teams.
• Assess new QA tools, AI-driven testing innovations, and SAP testing accelerators.
• Over 10 years of experience in QA/testing.
• At least 5 years of experience in SAP testing and automation.
• Proficient hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca for SAP GUI, Fiori, APIs, and non-SAP applications.
• Familiarity with API testing using Postman and Rest Assured.
• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Capability to mentor teams and enhance automation capabilities.
• In-depth understanding of automation frameworks.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations and business process testing.
• Knowledge of SAP Signavio and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of test data management strategies and tools.
• Strong SQL/database proficiency.
• Programming or scripting knowledge in Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with integrating automation into DevOps pipelines.
