Senior QA Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Develop, design, and implement test cases and scenarios, both manual and automated.

• Maintain quality throughout the software development lifecycle, from the definition of requirements to the final product delivery.

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing on both web and mobile platforms.

• Validate system integrations and APIs (REST/GraphQL).

• Create, maintain, and enhance automated testing suites utilizing contemporary tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.

• Collaborate with development, product, and infrastructure teams to identify, replicate, and monitor defect resolutions.

• Document issues, testing plans, and quality reports to ensure traceability.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in QA/software testing.

• Basic SQL knowledge for database queries and data validation.

• Hands-on experience in testing web and mobile applications regarding networking and APIs.

• Familiarity with version control (Git) for tracking code modifications.

• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python or JavaScript).

• Expertise in at least one test automation tool, such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

• Strong analytical abilities and an investigative approach to identifying critical scenarios.

• Effective communication skills for engaging with both technical and business teams.

• Experience in the fintech sector, particularly with payment gateways or acquirers.

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and integrating automated tests into pipelines.

• Understanding of security and performance testing methodologies.

• QA or software testing certifications are preferred.
