Senior QA Engineer - IP Routing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead comprehensive validation and testing strategies for IP routing capabilities, including SR-MPLS, SRv6, BGP, EVPN, and L3VPN.

• Spearhead the development of testing architecture, automation methodologies, and quality engineering practices for extensive routing platforms.

• Create and uphold automated testing frameworks and test cases using Python to enhance test coverage and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with development, product management, and systems engineering teams to facilitate feature delivery.

• Establish and implement test plans that encompass functional, scalability, performance, and interoperability scenarios.

• Guide engineers to foster technical growth and ensure consistency in engineering methodologies.

• Impact product quality through design evaluations, defect investigations, and risk assessment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in networking, emphasizing IP routing and associated protocols.

• Proficiency in SR-MPLS, SRv6, BGP, EVPN, and L3VPN technologies.

• Experience in developing automated test cases using Python in networking or distributed systems settings.

• Strong understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.

• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and CI/CD methodologies.

• Proven track record in leading complex technical projects and collaborating across diverse teams.
