Senior QA Automation Engineer, .NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain robust automated testing frameworks utilizing Selenium WebDriver and C# within the .NET ecosystem.

• Create and implement comprehensive Master Test Plans that encompass end-to-end, functional, exploratory, and regression testing scenarios.

• Execute manual testing as a foundation for generating high-quality automated test cases.

• Perform load and performance testing using Blazemeter to guarantee application scalability and reliability.

• Conduct API and database testing, along with scripting for test data creation and management.

• Monitor and report automation metrics, such as automated versus manual test coverage, to foster continuous enhancement.

• Oversee the complete bug life cycle — from detection and thorough reporting to resolution verification.

• Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including permission mapping, test outcomes, and quality reports.

• Clearly convey technical challenges and quality risks to both internal development teams and external clients.

• Collaborate across functions with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality standards.

• Operate independently in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, proactively identifying and addressing quality risks.

• Ensure a high degree of self-organization and meticulous attention to detail in all QA activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-level Experience: Demonstrated success in a Senior QA position, with an emphasis on establishing and maintaining robust automation frameworks.

• Automation Skills (Selenium & .NET): Extensive hands-on experience in crafting automated web tests using Selenium WebDriver within the .NET ecosystem (C#).

• Manual Testing Proficiency: Although the primary focus is on automation, you should be adept in manual testing, including designing Master Test Plans and executing end-to-end, functional, exploratory, and regression tests.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: Ability to clearly articulate technical issues and quality risks to both internal teams and clients.

• Performance Testing: Capability to perform load and performance tests utilizing Blazemeter.

• Technical Literacy: Proficiency in API and database testing, along with the ability to write scripts for test data creation.

• Excellent command of English (written and verbal) is a strict requirement.

• Quality Mindset: Acknowledgment that effective automation is built upon a solid foundation of excellent manual test cases.

• Strong Documentation Habits: A talent for detailed reporting, permission mapping, and clear management of the bug life cycle.

• Data-Driven Mindset: Experience in tracking automation metrics (automated versus manual coverage).

• Proactive Attitude: A problem-solving approach and the capability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
