Senior QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and enhance scalable test automation frameworks across various product modules.

• Develop and sustain automated tests for both UI and API layers.

• Define and refine the test architecture and automation methodologies within the team.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure stable and rapid execution.

• Work with Dockerized environments and manage test dependencies effectively.

• Validate system behavior through API and database-level checks.

• Investigate test failures, conduct root cause analysis, and eliminate flaky tests.

• Ensure appropriate test data management and isolation for parallel execution.

• Contribute to the enhancement of QA processes, tools, and engineering practices.

• Collaborate closely with development, product, and infrastructure teams.

• Mentor and assist other QA engineers by sharing best practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial experience in QA Automation / SDET / Test Automation Engineering.

• Proficient in Java (OOP, collections, streams, generics).

• Hands-on experience with JUnit 5 (including parallel execution and extensions).

• Experience with REST API testing (RestAssured or similar tools).

• Experience in UI automation (Selenide or Selenium, Page Object Model).

• Familiarity with using Spring Boot in test environments (configuration, profiles, dependency injection).

• Practical experience with SQL (PostgreSQL or similar).

• Experience with Docker (docker-compose, containerized test environments).

• Proficient with build tools (Gradle or similar).

• Confident in Git usage (branching strategies, merge, rebase workflows).

• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, TeamCity, or similar).

• Solid understanding of the testing pyramid and contemporary QA practices.

• Experience with test management systems (Allure TestOps, TestRail, or similar).

• Ability to analyze logs, investigate issues, and stabilize test suites.

• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
