Senior QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design and implement automated tests for new product features, encompassing functional, compatibility, performance, and API layers.

• Guide junior engineers through code reviews, sharing best practices and knowledge.

• Collaborate with development teams to enhance code testability and influence system architecture for improved performance, scalability, and security.

• Develop and sustain specifications for API, end-to-end, performance (K6), and security testing.

• Prepare complex datasets to test logic, error handling, and intricate workflows.

• Track and report on essential quality metrics to guarantee high-standard delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Quality Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering with extensive exposure to the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Proven track record in testing AWS serverless architectures at an enterprise level.

• Strong foundation in Agile methodologies (such as SAFe or similar frameworks).

• Demonstrated capability in leading test automation projects and mentoring junior engineers.
